Delete Your Account

Option 1: Delete your account in the app

This deletes your account immediately, no waiting on us.

1. Open the Pistons & Props app and make sure you're signed in.
2. Tap the Account tab (the profile icon).
3. Scroll down to the Settings section.
4. Tap Delete Account.
5. Read the confirmation notice, then tap Delete Account again to confirm.

You'll be signed out immediately and your login will no longer work. This cannot be undone.

Option 2: Request deletion from this page

Use this form if you've already removed the app, can't sign in, or would rather we handle it. We verify the request against the email on the account before deleting anything.

Data that is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

• Your login — email address, password, and any Google or Apple sign-in link
• Your profile — name, email, phone number, and account preferences
• Push notification tokens — your devices stop receiving notifications from us
• In-app notifications — your notification history and read/dismissed status
• Saved favorites — schedule and event items you bookmarked
• Sign-in tokens — any active sessions or pending sign-in links

These are deleted outright from our live systems, not archived. A copy may persist in encrypted database backups until those backups age out on our hosting provider's normal rotation schedule.

Data that is kept, and for how long

Some records can't be deleted with your account because we're required to keep them, or because they're what lets you into the event you already paid for. These stay attached to the name and email used at purchase, but are no longer linked to a login:

• Ticket orders and tickets — order number, items, amount paid, purchase date, and buyer name/email. Kept for event admission and as financial records for 7 years, then deleted.
• Car and motorcycle show registrations — entrant name, email, and vehicle details. Kept for the event's entry, judging, and award records for 7 years, then deleted.
• Donation records — amount and date, kept for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes.
• Vendor, sponsor, and lawn/parking reservations — kept where a contract or payment is involved, for 7 years.
• Payment details — we never store your card number. Payment records are held by Stripe under their own retention policy.

Applications you submitted separately from your account — volunteer sign-ups, vendor, reenactor, or kids-area applications, and contact-form messages — are tied to the email you entered on that form rather than to your login, so they aren't removed automatically. Check the box on the form above and we'll delete those too, except where a payment or signed agreement requires us to keep them.

How long it takes

• In-app deletion — immediate.
• Requests from this page — completed within 30 days. We email you when it's done.
