About the MiG-17F

The MiG-17F is one of the most iconic fighter jets of the Cold War and Vietnam era. Known for its exceptional maneuverability and tight turning radius, it challenged U.S. aircraft such as the A-4, F-8, F-100, F-105, B-52, and especially the F-4 Phantom II.

The MiG-17F "1611" underwent nearly four years of restoration and is one of only a few flying vintage jets on the North American airshow circuit. It features authentic markings and is the only MiG-17 available for ground display with fully restored guns.

The aircraft has appeared in major media projects, including performances with the USAF F-4 Phantom for the Discovery Channel and History Channel.
