About Spanish Lady
The Spanish Lady is a North American T-6 Texan, one of the most important training aircraft of World War II. Known as the "Pilot Maker," the Texan was often the final step before pilots moved on to combat aircraft.
Originally built in 1944, this aircraft trained Allied pilots during the war and went on to serve for decades afterward. Today, it continues to fly, bringing history to life through aerobatic demonstrations and living history flights.
