FIGHTERJETS Inc, the same group bringing the MiG-17F airshow performer to Pistons & Props, will also bring a second MiG known as “Scoop.” Guests will be able to see Scoop on the ground and watch for it during a scheduled flyover.
The MiG-17 is one of the most recognizable fighter jets of the Cold War and Vietnam eras. Known for its exceptional maneuverability and tight turning radius, the aircraft challenged a generation of Western fighters and remains a remarkable example of early jet-age design.
Scoop carries a polished silver finish, Polish insignia, and distinctive red 1210 markings. Its appearance alongside the performing MiG offers visitors a special opportunity to experience two examples of this historic jet at one event.
